The kit I am currently building came with the orange tub (80ml) acrylic paint. It is 100% formaldehyde free for anyone that might ask. It is very thick and covers extremely well, goes on great with either a brush or foam type roller. I purchased a 300 ml jar of a specific red to use on the kit because I desired a slightly lighter hue versus what came with the kit. Combined with an Acrylic Medium Flow material by Mont Marte have been able to achieve a very flat finished surface once dried. The paints are by a company called Chinjoo and can be found on Taobao. They just might become my go-to acrylic paint on future builds based on application results so far.
The medium flow I just add some of it in my roller pan and stir in.
The suggestion is to use hot soapy water for clean ups, however, the foam rollers that I use are not expensive so I consider them as one time use, versus trying to wash them out. Brushes do clean up fast and easy with a little bit of hand soap and warm water.
Half way through all of the easy painting of components on this build. Next comes the highly detailed multiple color components once am finished with the red components. Yesterday was able to paint 246 components, 234 of which will requiring painting on the opposite side. Today finished all 234 of them on side 2 !

Thank you for your tip. I was just looking to buy a couple of acrylic paint but unsure if i should go for markers for convenience or stick with paint tubes (just because I’m used to it)
If you are going to buy some paint, I recommend you to buy «hobby paint» that is acrylic paint for hobby projects. Specially the brand Pebeo. Good coverage and easy to paint with. If you are going to buy acrylic tubes for canvas you should buy paint that are not transparent, it takes so much more time to get a good coverage
Wow, 246 components in one day and then finishing all 234 on the second side today? That’s some serious patience and dedication!
