This is a short status update on painting if one goes down that pathway in any of their builds and you decide to use acrylic paints versus any type of colored marker tools.
If you blend colors to make a particular color-tone-hue, always make more then you will ever think you need for that build. It is better to have a customized color left over in an air tight container (think touchups) then to come up short and need to make some more.
My build start has gone very well today de-boarding parts, sanding, and prime painting. All told was batch mix my custom prime coat for this section of the build and was able to get 64 components primed on both sides, with balance of 16 components slated for priming tomorrow. Using a simple process-time-summation tracker I built to archive build progress.

Thanks! What I posted is just the summation table. Several rows below it is the data table with process-date-start-finish- duration, which all feeds up into the summation section.
Good Advice! Make more than enough paint when mixing. I have been doing this more but only have these little cups to keep in. They keep for a few weeks at most. What are you using for airtight?
Any airtight container will work. A glass jar with a good sealing lid, a a jar of consumed paint, just wash it out. For me, I buy these tubs of yogurt that has a wonderful lid seal so just wash them out very well and use them. They are heavy walled plastic and I have stored paint in them going on 12 months without any problem.
