My Own Little Library of Wonders!

After attaching the side walls, we added the beautiful stained-glass window at the back. This wooden section also holds the battery box, while the statue and staircase create an incredible illusion of being much farther away than they really are.

Once everything was in place, I carefully arranged the cables underneath. I really appreciate that they remain tidy and secure after being fixed with the wooden pieces and tape instead of moving around inside the kit.

And with that… voilà! My new book nook was finished!

It had already become dark by the time we completed it, so I waited until the following day to take better photos. I think it looks beautiful from every angle.

There is also a little story hidden in the finished build. If you look carefully beneath the word “Library,” you may notice a blue sticker. That is the sticker we accidentally used on the dome instead of a white one! After some careful manoeuvring, I managed to rescue it and put it in its correct place, which was a relief because it’s right at the front and would have been very noticeable hahaha.

Doesn’t it look lovely surrounded by my Jane Austen books? It reminds me a little of the Clementinum in Prague, which I visited several years ago. Its Baroque Library was built in 1722 and is decorated with beautiful frescoes inspired by science and art, as well as historic globes. The warm wood, golden details and grand atmosphere made it feel like a real-life Library of Wonders.

I’m so happy that this kit now has a place on my bookshelf, and even happier that I built it in my sister’s company. Thank you for reading all the process!
