[Heartwarming] 📚 The Wisdom Stationery Shop Just Around the Corner ✏

I loved stopping by the little stationery shop tucked away on the corner after school when I was younger. :school:

There was something so special about being in that place, surrounded by the excited chatter of other students. I would slowly browse the rows of colourful pens, notebooks and little trinkets, wanting to bring each and every one of them home. :straight_ruler:

As a child, I absolutely loved receiving stationery. The biggest smile would be on my face every time I unwrapped a new letter set, colourful pens, or a sheet of adorable stickers. Did any of you ever own any scented stationery? :books:

Perhaps this is why the Wisdom Stationery Shop book nook evokes such nostalgic memories for me. It captures the simple joy and wonder of my childhood and holds a very special place in my heart.

It’s definitely a kit packed with charming details. Imagine stepping into a rustic old stationery shop with creaky wooden floorboards, shelves stretching from floor to ceiling and every corner brimming with books, paper, pens and anything you could think of. This is the exact place.

I do think it’s a pity that the second floor isn’t very visible once the build is complete. It has so many little details, yet they’re largely hidden from view.

I can hardly ever fault Robotime when it comes to quality and this kit is no exception. Every single piece was beautifully made, sturdy and fitted together seamlessly. I did manage to snap one of the pieces that was part of the base structure, but that was my fault for using too much brute force! :see_no_evil_monkey:

As this was a review kit, I didn’t make any changes apart from painting most of the edges. And I realised most of them aren’t really visible anyway. :face_exhaling:

Here are more close-ups of the details. I dry brushed the display stand to give it a more weathered look. The packaging paper station was my absolute favourite. :pink_heart:

Last but not least, the walls! I love the design and thought that went into them. They gave me an indescribable feeling, but if I had to put it into words, I’d probably say wisdom given that’s the name of this book nook.

Thank you again @Robotime for giving me the opportunity to build and review this beautiful book nook. I genuinely enjoy writing reviews and I hope my photos and video have done this gorgeous stationery shop justice. I would love the opportunity to work on more kits like this in the future!

And because I spent too many hours on this, here’s one final shameless plug for the video I made. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed building this delightful little shop. :hatching_chick:

This is a lovely little kit. It does have some amazing details and a lot of them are packed in on that top floor. I love the weathered look you created for the display stand. I would have to take home the little quill pen.

This is such a beautiful kit and what a wonderful review  love looking through all your photos, it shows so many areas of the book that you won’t be able to see once built.

I used to collect scented stationeries and trade pieces of each pack with my classmates :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@JDisaduck you nailed how I feel about this kit. I have always loved stationary stores. Wax seals, paper, pens, stickers. Name it. This kit has been on my list since it came out and I really should pull the trigger and just buy it. After seeing the reviews of others and yours it’s just calling me lol. Great review and great job! I love that you dry brush! It’s a technique most should get to know in this hobby. It changes sooo much. :+1:t6:

Ahhhh potato twin, I can’t walk past a stationary store without going in. I love notebooks and have a collection of beautiful unused ones just waiting for someone to write on the page.
I definitely enjoyed your review. And I agree that the walls are amazing.

This is nostalgic! This book nook captures that feeling perfectly! Also, the sides of this book nook looks like some famous wall in Europe. I’m not just pretty sure the exact location.

Such a beautiful kit. Thank you for sharing such great photos and review for those of us that haven’t done this one yet.

@JDisaduck the memory of browsing colorful pens, letter sets, and scented stationery after school gives this build such a personal glow. Your weathered display stand suits that tucked-away corner-shop feeling beautifully—this really does feel like a small doorway back to childhood.

I get it; I also had one like that near my house where I used to buy all my school supplies and everything for my drawing classes.

Another one added to my long list.
Thanks so much for sharing!

This build is gorgeous! I really liked seeing all the little details up close before they were put into the stationery shop.

What a beautiful review! :yellow_heart: I loved reading the childhood memories behind it. There’s something so nostalgic about little stationery shops, especially when every pen, sticker, and notebook felt like a treasure. Your photos really capture the cozy atmosphere of the book nook, and I agree that it’s a shame some of the second-floor details end up hidden. The dry brushing on the display stand was a lovely touch too. Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review. It definitely makes me want to visit that tiny stationery shop!

This was such a joy to read! :two_hearts: I love how you connected the kit to your childhood memories. It made the review feel so personal and heartwarming.

Thank you Nita! :pink_heart: I had assumed you would be taking home painting supplies hahaha. :see_no_evil_monkey: I did that wish some of the trinkets are more 3D instead of being printed papers but still love the kit!
