Henry’s chocolate shop is definitely not a quick build. You may want to take a look into that. It’s fiddly but cute

Hey @Jo1! So one tip here. If you look for any kit in the official website, you’ll be able to see the estimated time each kit takes as soon as you scroll down a bit:

That obviously varies depending on each person and also if you’re following the instructions straight or you’re willing to add customizations, but it’ll give you a general idea.

Knowing this, your first option (Elsa’s Tailoring) would take around 8 to 10 hours, while Henry’s Chocolate shows around 8 hours, meaning that the Tailoring one should take a little bit longer, maybe.

Also notice that there are different kinds of kits. Those two are Miniature Houses (you’ll find a lot of little details to craft and stick and place around the structure), while others like the Dream Gift Factory are mechanical wooden puzzles (which mainly involves fitting wooden parts and gears together and placing through them many wires and electronic components). You should decide also which kind would you prefer to build or would you feel more comfortable in doing so

This has given me an idea, @Robotime. How would you feel about adding a new sorting filter in the official store in your website? Something like ordering kits from more to less (or less to more) estimated time they take.

I haven’t built either of these but have Elsa in my stash. I also have the A Frame and have plans for customisation of it.
I guess it depends on whether you want a quick build or something more involved.

Customize one..and it will take you days (not hours) to do so. 👍 [Rolife DIY & Creativity] Elsa's tailoring completed 😊 I customized the A-frame as well.

@TheToday thank you so much for the detailed information i will take all this on board! I may do the dream factory another time with  i also suppose its how much spare time you have to do the kits ! And that’s a good idea about @Robotime maybe adding in a section on builds and times x

I think, it varies to the person. But I would like to see you build the A cabin as I have that as well. Maybe an inspo from you. Hehe

My pleasure!

Yeah, exactly. And the variation it’s also in the amount of time you spend a day with it, which amount of that time you spend preparing the material before and saving it afterwards, checking or double-checking the instructions, dealing with a challenging step… There are too many factors

Me for example, I usually prefer the Rokr kits over the Rolife ones. The Rokr instruction manuals come sepparated in more… Consistent? Numbered sections or steps in the manual. So when I’m working on those, I’ll usually follow one step a day.

Two kits are great and not difficult to make

I would definitely go for the Henry’s Chocolate since I’m a big fan of chocolate. But if you want a kit that it will be longer to build, I think it’s the Dream Gift Factory.

My personal fav Rokr kits would be the Seahorse Barque and the Dream Gift Factory, although I still haven’t built many of the most beloved ones around here, like the all time famous Cuckoo Clock.

Have done both. both are wonderful and cannot go wrong with either!

Rokr kits take me more time to build than rolife’s so maybe the seahorse barque? Or the new magic harp?? Both are very difficult to make and definitely take a long time

Actually I have built all that you mentioned. Dream factory or the ships will take longest as others have said. Much can depend on if you just build, paint a little, or revamp and customize.
