[Heartwarming] Rowood Purple Iris

Under the Spring topic, I posted what reminded me of Spring or how I style it. Flowers! Lots of beautiful Tulips, Daffodils, and Purple Iris. The Iris is something I shared with my Mom. Every year Dad would plant and we would plant and see whose came up first, North Carolina or Illinois! My Dad is gone now and my Mom is in a Retirement Village in FL so we are the sole planters of the Iris. This year I decided I would make her the Rowood one. I am going to ship when done so hoping with careful packing, it makes it there ok! I will glue the heck out of it.

I am not big on making these but for Mom, I can. and for those of you wondering, Yes I will paint! Mostly edges but I will paint!

It’s beautiful! They sell many types of flowers.

I almost got this as my leaderboard prize! Enjoy!

This is a beautiful one! I’m sure she will love it and I hope it makes it there in one piece.

I love the color of the daffodil. In fact I think that is the name of one of paint colors from Walmart. Pale daffodil.

Me too! I was almost going to just build by her! But then I was thinking all the stuff I would need to bring. In addition, she is a good 92. But never sure how long we have someone!
