Here it is…just in time for me to take it to Cleveland, Ohio to gift it to my mother-in-law for her 90th birthday. I wasn’t sure I’d get it finished in time because I’ve been sick, but I made it.
I am really happy with the changes I made by painting the carnation and rose a different color. And as usual, I painted the edges of absolutely every single one of the 428 pieces. I also added some greenery I had left over from my wedding and some artificial moss left over from other kits to fill in between the stems. It turned out so pretty…I am hoping she’ll really love it!
@Tkaplan wow i knew it was going to look beautiful and it absolutely does ! You have done an amazing job on this ! Your mother in law will be thrilled im sure ! Safe journey !
It’s absolutely stunning…as I knew it would be. Painting these makes all the difference in the world…and your MIL will be thrilled when she receives this gift. Bonus! They last forever! Happy Birthday to her!
It’s so BEAUTIFUL I’m sure your mother-in-law will love this. Amazing work you’ve done here @Tkaplan I’m glad you finished it all on time. Have a safe trip to Ohio.
What a beautiful wooden flower basket! It’s truly heartwarming to see the personal touches you added, like painting the carnation and rose, and incorporating greenery from your wedding. Your mother-in-law will surely cherish this thoughtful and unique 90th birthday gift. We’re so glad you were able to finish it in time, despite feeling unwell!
I really like what you’ve done with this one! Your choice of colours really stand out. Thanks for sharing! I’m 100% sure she’ll love such an unique gift.
I’m starting mine soon! I won’t paint it though haha but I already know thanks to you that I’ll be crafting another one of those weirdly made ribbons lol.
So beautiful! I would definitely add this to my list. I might stop building DIY miniature house for now and focus on building flowers. They are so pretty!
