After many days, I’ve finally been able to build again!!
I decided to continue with Kiki’s Magic Emporium, even knowing it’s a kit that will take time, and that right now I don’t have much of it. Still, I really want to see it finished, even if it’s slowly.
This time, I managed to build two pieces of furniture and one chair, and honestly… that took me the whole afternoon. It’s been a while since I worked on such a very DIY kit, and I can really feel it
I love how challenging these kits are, but that tiny chair, cutting toothpicks into small pieces, was a bit desperate at times. The pieces kept sticking everywhere except where they were supposed to go!
Still, I’m happy with the result. Superglue is my best friend. And hey, a good challenge every now and then isn’t a bad thing.
The nicest part of today, though, was sharing a quiet creative moment at home. My sister came over, my husband was painting a dragon miniature, my sister was coloring a Pokémon book, and I was building Kiki’s. Each of us doing our own thing, together. I really love moments like this, they give me so much peace.

What a wonderful way to spend the day! I can feel your frustration though with those tiny legs. I have even had tiny wooden pieces fly across the room when doing so. I can’t wait to see the Emporium finished.

Take your time with Kiki! Customisation is no easy feat and we only really have one functioning brain cell.
