Hello yes I am back again. I was wondering if I should continue my updates on my customization or keep it a big surprise until my final submission. I feel like I’ll finish it before my customization kit even comes in
I am just having so much fun customizing it and it’s my first time which makes this a whole new experience for me. I don’t see many people giving updates on there’s and I don’t know if that’s because they havnt started yet or just not going to share their process. Anyways I feel like from now on if I share updates it will spoil my story because I have made some major parts to my build. Please let me know what you think!!
I don’t plan on sharing a lot of mine (early on) as people might tend to steal your ideas…BUT if the contest depends on likes AND votes…it might be best to enter early. I have NO idea about the actual rules.
Yes I was kind of worried about my ideas and all. But I feel like I trust most on here to not steal ideas. I think since I feel like I might finish in the next week or two I’ll do my final submission as soon as I finish it and if need be I’ll repost it if I feel like it’s being buried
I’m still taking all the progress photos and I think k my submission will be all my progress photos in one with a story attached
That’s a great idea, I think.
I think they want to keep it a secret until the very last minute.
I would keep it as a surprise. ![]()

@Rukya_Alkaabi I agree with @Nita_Davis don’t reveal too much. Big surprises are great payoff at the end we’ve seen what your idea is and how it’s turning out now hold off on it until the very end I say.
Yes this is what I’m going to do. I am a big fan at sharing progress because it excites me so much but I think for this I really have to stop sharing and let everyone just wait and see and hopefully in turn it will make a bigger impact.
I am still doing updates, but I am toning them down compared to how much I normally share of my daily progress with any build. Like with my changes to the walls, I only showed a tiny snippet in the images, so that everything can still remain a big surprise overall come reveal time.
Well, sharing it means putting ideas out there that can be copied—maybe they won’t do it as well as you, or maybe they will.
If the person voting hasn’t seen all the posts… they won’t know the idea is yours. If you look closely, very few people are actually sharing.
Honestly, I think you should keep some of the bigger parts a surprise now!
You can keep it a secret. That will make it more exciting when you show the final model, especially as you’ve teased us a little with the beginning.
welcome back @Rukya_Alkaabi
Secondo me la maggior parte delle persone ha “paura” che gli vengano rubate le idee. PS. Io non partecipo. È solo una mia opinione.
I’d say keep the big reveal for the final submission!
Sinceyou’re having so much fun and you’ve already made some major story elements, it might be even more exciting to let everyone see the transformation all at once. You could always share little hints or close-ups without giving away the whole story. I’m so curious to see what you’ve created!
I think I am going to hold mine for a bit. I have not yet started on the custom part and need to pick up a few more things but it will be so fun when we all share at end!
I’ve loved seeing your progress updates but I completely understand if you want to save pictures of your final build for your submission.
You’re always welcome to keep sharing!
It’s fun seeing the process, especially when it’s your first customization. But I completely understand wanting to save the big reveal for the final submission—especially if you’ve already made some major changes! Either way, it sounds like you’re having an absolute blast with it, and that’s what matters most. ![]()
