Great tip when dealing with tiny beads

If you are ever dealing with tiny beads and trying to thread a beaded wire through them, this works awesome. I know they make ‘rubber’ tipped tweezers, but I made my own using REAL rubber bands…because they actually DO grip. I’ve had pieces go flying because some of them DON’T. These worked great for the tiny pieces that are all clear beads. It is hard enough to get the right side up (especially with the teardrop shaped ones). I hope this helps someone who does the mini kits. Now, it’s bedtime…I gotta work tomorrow.

That’s a good idea. I frequently experience situations where the tweezers can’t hold something.

That’s so smart! I have a lot of tweezers from Robotime so I might change the other to this. Thanks for the great tip

They work SO much better. I find that many of these rubber tipped tweezers are just some type of plastic…NOT the same. @ThaoNguyen

The included rubber tips aren’t very good. I’ve tried them.

You’re exactly right. I know that the real rubber bands actually grip. @ThaoNguyen

haha  good idea… :+1: I’m using foam tape and stick on the tweezers… or sometime i using the paper masking tape to round it…

Great tip! I have had so many pieces flying when making my book nooks with tiny details. I didn’t think of it at that time.

Thank you for the great tips. I might do it next time. It’s so hard to get beads using tweezers alone. They always slip.

That’s a really clever idea. Thanks for sharing this tip Nita

@Nita_Davis im going to do this ! Its a great idea! I lose things frequantly ! Lol :rofl::rofl::rofl:

It works so much better. I could’ve glued the rubber much closer to the tip…but they are working out VERY well @Suzanne_Jones

That’s such a creative solution. I havr not encountered a situation yet where I would need tweezers like that but I’ll definitely remember your idea if I need a tool like that in the future.

Yes! I had many spare pairs…and now these are just a bit different…and so helpful. I have SO many more beads to go. @Anje_Leonoza_Mira
