I just can’t help myself. After finishing Elsa’s tailor shop, I couldn’t help but to customize this one as well. I am just so used to painting all of my wooden models that I feel like I have to put in a bit work on the Rolife models because I just love vibrant colors so much. I am going to repaint the wallpaper, the roof, the trim and a bit of the furniture as well. I may end up doing all of the furniture… who knows? I even painted my baking sheets silver because I’ve never seen a white baking sheet….lol

This is the difference between an artist and well me. I am taking things at face value. I might make a few adjustments but I am getting used to adding a few touches.

It always brings joy to me when others are inspired…and attempt to do a bit more to their models. I don’t mind at all taking the time to make them a bit more special. You are doing great!
Thanks @ThaoNguyen . I certainly will…but as I just started painting that roof…I realize it will be time consuming…yet I don’t mind that at all.

They are front and center… @Nectarines . How could I NOT do so…LOL! The back of that roof may (or may NOT) get painted. UGH! I always tend to bite off more than I actually WANT to do.

Hahahaha once you start looking and start painting it’s hard to not do the whole lot I’m sure you will find lots with this one to add your personal creative touches too!

This is a nice kit. I don’t think I will customise mine when I get to it. I really like its original colours.
Couldn’t wait to see what you come out with!

I’ve not seen you ‘customize’ any besides the cuckoo clock…although you’ve got many that are very well worthy of doing so…but to each their own. I love making each and every one unique.
I never do..and I always enjoy every minute spent on these amazing models. @ThaoNguyen

If you EVER fall in, there is absolutely no way out…LOL @JDisaduck I am a housepainter..and it never occurred to me to paint my first 7 or 8. Once I painted my first, I fell HARD…LOL!

Hahaha I’m gonna try and get through my Rolife kits first then I’ll extend my arms to the ROKR ones. 
I just don’t have the time and I wish I do!

Most everything here is the original colors..exceot for my dots of red on the wallpaper and wainscotting below and a few ornaments on the tree. I’ve only painted the silver trays and some blue trim on the house. @TheToday Big changes are coming!
