The Christmas season brings about memories and sometimes difficulty emotions. I was made aware about a neighbor who’s still grieving about the loss of her son who passed away last year from suicide. Her husband currently has a terminal illness. She and I don’t talk much, however, something in me wanted to reach out to her by sending her this gift that would bring comfort in this difficult time.
I recently made this beautiful little flower shop. Among all of my non-Rolife builds, this one stands out as one of my favorites, truly breathtaking and beautifully crafted. It’s known as Florist on Spring Isle. The parts fit together seamlessly, with a fantastic light setup, and it’s filled with stunning elements for a compact nook book, such as the bike leaning on the side, gramophone, and delicate flowers and plants that aren’t fiddly at all.
Adding my personal touch to this nook book and even choosing an ideal location (Donner Creek in Reno NV) are absolutely effortless and fun. It warms my heart that this little creation could touch someone’s life in more ways than one.
This is such a thoughtful and touching gift. In moments like these, small acts of kindness mean more than we can imagine. I’m sure your creation will bring her a bit of comfort and warmth this Christmas.
I’m aware that not everyone is going to be happy this holiday season. Some will be grieving but may your gift and act of kindness bring her some solace during this difficult time. I know it will help. You’ve showed her warmth.
@mchipman That’s such a touching story, and it’s SO nice of you to send your care & comfort at her difficult time.
Reading this warmed our hearts too
