Christmas has always been my favorite holiday of the year. There is simply something about this season that fills me with so much joy. It feels like everyone is celebrating the things that truly matter.
It is a season of joy, gratitude, and togetherness. These are feelings that shouldn’t exist only during the holidays but something I carry in my heart all year long.
When I reminisce about my childhood Christmases and compare them to now, I realize that although many things have changed, the happiness it brings has always remained the same. What’s different is only the way we celebrate.
For the past five years, I have celebrated Christmas away from home. My family calls me at midnight to greet me, just as they always have. We share the food we prepared, show each other the celebrations we are part of, and exchange warm greetings through a video call.
One of my greatest wishes is to be able to celebrate Christmas at home again. It may not be this year, but I know that one day it will happen.
This Christmas, I plan to celebrate with the people closest to me, those who genuinely support me and make life abroad easier. I will also celebrate with my family through video calls, sharing love across the distance. Of course, I will be building all the upcoming kits during my holiday break.
The connection between the photo and this post is the feeling of coziness, sipping hot chocolate, surrounded by the things you love, and wrapped in warmth and comfort. That is the feeling I hope everyone experiences this holiday season. Even if we are far from our families or the people we love, I hope none of us feels alone. May everyone have a well-deserved break and a warm, magical Christmas.
Merry Christmas to everyone and to Robotime as well for creating a beautiful community where people who share the same love and passion can come together. ![]()
