Yes!! I only have my two grandmothers left, my grandfathers have passed away. As the years go by, I see them getting older and older, and it makes me sad to think that one day they won’t be here.

At least I’ve been lucky to enjoy many years with them, but I always feel like I don’t see or talk to them enough… the daily routine just takes over :pensive_face:

I’m so happy to hear that you have finally gave the cuckoo clock to your grandma. Seeing her smile is the sweetest. Looking at how much she cherishes everything you gave her is so heartwarming :two_hearts:

I’m feeling yah. I only have 1 grandmother left and since we live so far away, I tried to go back to VN every year to visit her.

Oh Tricia… that’s so precious.
The fact that you make the effort to go back every year says so much. Distance makes those moments even more meaningful. I’m sure your visits mean the world to her.

I really appreciate the time I get to spend with her. We even try to bring her to Australia again so we can look after her but she doesn’t want to. so in the meantime, anytime I get a chance to take a break from work, I will come back to VN and spend time with her. She is 88 years young and counting. :heart_eyes: :grin:
