Thank you dear. It’s a great wish as now my grandma is in hospital but I know she has already passed a lot, that’s why I think I could make her something to cherish the time we still have :frowning:

Aww that is so sweet and thoughtful Wendy @Wenbare. You are a wonderful granddaughter. I love how excited she was about the cuckoo :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You are such a sweet granddaughter.

Oh, I’m so sorry she’s in the hospital right now .

You’re so right, making her something to cherish this time together is such a beautiful and loving idea. Those handmade pieces hold so much of us in them.

I’m sending you and your grandma all my warmth and strength. I hope you can create something that wraps her in all your love

Thank you so much, @Jo_Zanella!! I wish I could be a better granddaughter. I don’t see her as much as I’d like. Life gets really busy with the daily routine, and she doesn’t live very close, so I can only see her on some weekends. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Hahahaha we all “had no intention” until we suddenly walk out with a kit :joy:

You’re going to have so much fun with it!

It is, but you’ll see it’s actually very easy to follow the instructions and everything fits together perfectly. The trickiest part might be checking that the cuckoo works properly and setting the time.

And if you need anything, you know we’re here to help

You did the Star wars! You can do this! I did this as maybe my 4th kit? I took my time, reviewed all the tips others posted on here, and got through successfully!

They look complicated with all those gears.
For cuckoo when you are putting him together (maybe page 5) you will come upon a spring. Be sure this is placed securely. Make sure all parts are placed correctly, and test, test, test, and test some more

Just one kit? That’s restraint.

It’s a bead painting of Jesus. It’s maybe not perfect as on one side I didn"t pull the material enough but my grandma was very touched that I spent so much time on it.

I’m sure she was overwhelmed by the fact that you made this for her. There is a lot of work in this and it looks great.
