Elsa's Tailoring beginning to build

I finally am able to start Elsa’s. This is my progress and tips thus far. I completed up to page 10.

When I first opened up everything, so e of the boards looked like pieces had come off. I did go through and check everything and all was fine. There are alot of shelves and doors with openings so kind of threw me off initially.
Many of the wood pieces have a design on one side. Before I started the build, I went through and noted on the instructions which ones did so I did not forget! It was a nice reminder and I found I really payed closer attention.

When I build the ribbon holder, I ended up using my pinking shears to keep it from unraveling. I am big into glue so I also glued the ribbon where it stopped. The stickers are pretty sticky but I did not trust them completely! I also glued the cushion cover and ribbon around it to be secure.
For the last one pictured, I initially put the little ribbon pictures upside down. I caught it in time and was able to correct before glue dried.

The black wood on the sewing table was a little more difficult to work with. It is very thin and if not careful - can break.

This last one really had no issues. I just worked slowly and carefully on the dresser, especially where the fabric came in. I also used my pinking shears on the end of those, hoping to decrease fraying ends!

Hope you find this helpful! I will post more but it is getting late for me and my eyes were tired!

Thanks @alpine! one other reason for glue is the grandchildren. They like to touch and I am ok with that but glue keeps it more firm.
