Hi everyone! Finally got around to editing these photos and posting my fully customised Ocean Cheers Bar & Dining!
It’s definitely not as extensively customised as one of my previous kits, but I still had so much fun coming up with the colour scheme and changing some of the printouts to make it my own. Honestly, this one took so long to finish that I’d mostly forgotten the journey it took to get here, but I’m still excited to share the finished result.
Some shots from different angles and lighting, I personally think the whole mood changes when the lights are on. The space turns into something much warmer and even more inviting.
The original build mainly used red, orange and yellow tones. While they’re warm colors, I wasn’t a fan of how they looked together, it felt a bit too heavy on my eyes. I did leave one of the outer walls in its original red though. I think it looks great next to the blue shutters and it can serve as a little piece of history, showing what the original looked like. Not because I was too lazy to change it, certainly not.
I’m happy with the changes I’ve made with this build, though I do think the overall build looks a little too busy for my liking. But I’m proud of how the floor tiles turned out. And with every journey, there’s always something new to learn.
Bruh!! This turned out soo good!! I just love the colours you chose, it definitely reminds me of pubs, with ocean views down on the island where I’m from originally!! Great work! What are you planning to do next?
Changing the red to blue was probably the best course of action, I love it so much it’s feeding the blue fanatic in me a,d I wholeheartedly agree the red + orange + an orange light would’ve been so heavy on the eye, you definitely did a great job jd now it’s cozier and much more inviting as you said <<33

As soon as I saw Teddy in then photo, I knew this was yours! Second clue was that beautiful blue paper. This is so light and airy and beautiful I love it.

@JDisaduck I love the colour scheme that you picked, it calmed down the very orange theme on that set. This takes me back to one of the Tavernas I visited in Cyprus in the Mediterranean.
I love the chairs being blue as well, theres a sense of calm Great job
Aww homie! Thanks! The ocean view was what I was hoping for. I’m not too sure! I’ve been too busy so it might be a book nook or a non-Rolife kit. And it’ll end up taking months again.
