Sharing one of my non-Rolife builds: the Tonecheer Walking Castle! :castle:

I’m about 13 hours into this build and honestly, it has been so hard to put down. This kit is definitely challenging, with so many tiny little parts that really test your patience, but in the best way.

Surprisingly, the gears were one of the easier parts to put together. The wood pieces are mostly harder and sturdier, so I had less issues with breaking compared to some other kits, but they are also much sharper. I definitely got a few tiny cuts along the way, so finger cots helped a lot. While the the joints are very flush, I have been using my hammer to get them together… caused some breakage that super glue could fix

It’s one of those builds where you tell yourself “just one more step” and suddenly another hour has passed. I’m excited to see how it all comes together, especially with the walking mechanism.

@Orangesareus i am in love with this kit. Ever since seeing Howls Castle and then seeing this brought to life. It’s really impressive. Can’t wait to see it moving. Take care of them fingers!! Lol

I love this Ghibli movie! It’s beautiful! Last summer I was at Ghibli Park in Japan.
