After one week of building i finished the retro dressing-case today. A really fun build to make, and the end result is fantastic :star_struck: I didn’t change anything, just painted the edges. As you can see, the case has a pattern on the sides. The inside lifts up slightly when the case is opened. A fantastic build, super happy with this gift from @Robotime :hugs: The finishing took a bit longer because a part of the lid broke off, so I had to take it all apart again. Luckily, there was a spare part.

Yes, luckily there was a spare part. There weren’t many spare parts in this package. I couldn’t have glued the broken piece back together either, so I was lucky there was a spare part for that.

Wow! It’s so beautiful :heart_eyes: Loving all the intricate details and colors on this build.

How do you take it apart? I find it scary to take apart wooden puzzles because it might lead to more broken parts :grin:

Thank you :hugs: It was quite a tricky build. In the end, I couldn’t quite get the lid on. It turned out I’d put one part on wrong. :sweat_smile: I ended up breaking a piece, so I had to take the lid completely apart again.

yes the colours match very well and the nice thing is that the side has a pattern in it

Is is an amazing gift from robotime :star_struck: is not for sale anymore. It was a special gift because i made the van Gogh piano :smiling_face:

Haha, indeed, I still have a lot to do. I just don’t know yet what my next build will be. I think I’m going to make my first miniature house :smiling_face:
