Have you built this kit? I think it’s from a brand called Tonecheer and is called European Travels?. I’m not exactly sure about these because I only saw it in a Chinese shopping app. It’s been in my cart for like a month and haven’t finalized buying it yet.
First of all, I’m afraid their customer service might not be as good as Robotime because Robotime is global and seeing as these kit has lots of moving parts, I’m afraid I might need replacements haha.
The main selling point for me I think is that it can be used for 1/12 dolls which is my main collection scale. My Nendoroid Dolls will definitely fit inside and it’ll be so cool to display it with the moving picture and to take photos like the doll is traveling somewhere far.
Maybe there’s a Robotime kit that resembles it? Does this kit remind you of any Robotime kit? I’d rather buy a Robotime kit at this point to be honest because dealing with shipping from China to PH is kinda expensive still even tho we’re neighbors.
@Jerry_Boswijk build this kit a while ago. He posted his progress. This is the final result Train cabin finished
Jerry can probably help you further. I think it was a decent brand.
Exactly!! There are 3 versions, I believe. Another one gives a steampunk vibe. A little bit pricey tho compared to the kits I usually buy that’s why I’m having second thoughts
300 pounds??? That’s a bit too much! I saw them for like 30+ pounds each so like 90-100 pounds for all 3. But of course that doesn’t include the international shipping fee yet. Ahh now that I think about it, maybe that’s the reason it costs so much more on the listing you saw? Maybe the box for each kit is huge??
@khimmymade ive seen this lots on fb and i done the beast and beauty by tonecheer i found the quality exallent ! This is a tad pricey … but its beautiful!
Ohh that was by Tonecheer? I see now. Yeah, the price is really holding me back a bit but maybe it’s because of all the mechanical and electrical parts that it’s a bit pricey.
Oh thank you! I haven’t really built anything from them yet that’s why I’m a bit worried. But seeing as how there are others who have built it here, if I get a little bit extra money or if it’s going to be on a sale, I might grab one of these.
Yes yes yes! And the video I posted doesn’t have sound on but I saw the videos from one of the crafters here that have made it and it’s so cute that it even males the train sounds haha.
Oh yeah it’s a booknook hahaha kinda didn’t realize that it was because I was thinking that it was a diorama for dolls hahahahah but yeah, you are right, it is actually a booknook and being used as a diorama is just a bonus use for it hahaha.
