I lied…I thought I was just going to stain the whole telescope, but I decided to add some gold accents and I really love the affect so far. The gold against the browns really pops. It feels like a telescope you’d find in an d pirate ship. lol. I’m having so much fun with this…I love watching it take shape.
The brown and gold really works amazing together. I love it so far. Enjoy the rest of the building process, I can’t wait to see the finished result

Hi @Tkaplan, the brown and gold accents look wonderful on the telescope. It really does feel like something from an old ship, and watching the first lens appear is such a satisfying progress moment.
