I got to workin this for a good amount of time today. I finished the telescope itself and am in process of assembling the tripod. I’m having so much fun seeing how this goes together. It constantly amazes me that the Robotime creators are able to think of every little detail to make this work.
Initially I was going to share a picture of the telescope, but I think I will leave that for the final reveal so I have something to look forward to sharing. Or a picture of it collapsed might do.
Here is a glimpse of the parts of the tripod that I have done so far. I’m staining every piece with a furniture stain marker and am loving how it’s turning out. I only have part of one leg done.
I’m hoping to be able to finish this tomorrow so that I can start preparing for my two meetups that I am hosting on Thursday.
