Wow, I realized I never came back and posted an update after all the recent progress on this project. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The mechanical Christmas chaos continues.

I’ve now made it through power test number three successfully, and this project is really starting to come alive. The toy conveyor belt is running, the serpentine belt system is moving properly, and I’m now starting to work on the second floor sections of the factory.

This is definitely one of those builds where every completed section unlocks another moving part somewhere else. Watching all the gears, belts, and motion systems slowly start working together has been incredibly satisfying so far.

I’m also very glad I took the time to pre-sort all of the tiny shafts and screws before starting this one because there are a LOT of screws in this kit.

Hi @Kim_Kieffer, those successful power tests sound so satisfying, especially with the conveyor belt and serpentine belt moving together. Pre sorting all those tiny shafts and screws was clearly a smart move, and we cannot wait to see the second floor come to life.

Glad to hear that all power test until now went smoothly. And yes there are a lot of screws in this kit, it gave me real builder vibes when I was making this one.

Wow, it doesn’t look like it has that many screws!

My partner always helps me with the screws.
