I totally forgot to post this one. This was my first kit ever completed by inspiration from my daughter. The out come reflects how naive I was to assume it would be easy 
if I had researched more I would have found out that this one of the more challenging kits out there and not for beginners. The wire work in particular was an utter challenge to me. I also realized not to use white glue on clear windows 
but my uncle did say it looks like frost or snow on the windows lol. This kit got me hooked big time and it’s been an incredible journey since October of last year!

I love how you shared the whole journey of that first kit—it really shows how much it meant to you, even with the challenges. Starting with one of the tougher builds must have been a trial by fire, especially with the wire work and learning those little lessons like not using white glue on clear windows. But I think your uncle’s comment about it looking like frost or snow is such a charming silver lining—it turned a mistake into a unique detail.

Thanks everyone! I also wanted to point out that I did this without all the tools I have now. I only had some glue, an old xacto knife and some cosmetic tweezers. This proves it doesn’t take a lot to get into this hobby!!

@Sasa the chairs and the barstools and the table. The legs are a constructed of wire pieces that must be cut precisely and curved the right way to make them balance.

I think the first kit has been a challenge for a lot of us. Even with these challenges you did a good job, it looks nice

You did chose a really hard one for your first build and it made it more memorable for you. But I can see the great effort you put into it. Completing it is already a great feat. Well done!

Simons Coffee is such a charming choice, and it sounds like that wire work really put you through your paces, but the result has so much heart.
