I worked late tonight to try and get some of this out of the way. To say it’s been a challenge is a small understatement lol. I’ve already detailed my issues with it so so I won’t get into again lol
The main part of the build is pretty much done now. The next part will be the rigging on this. I’m up for it!!
I’ll admit it is turning out gorgeous. It’s almost a shame to what I plan on doing to it…. Almost.
I added some fairy light in the cabin to see if I could add some life to it. Only to find out the most useless characters I have ever seen in a kit. Sorry ROKR but I mean you can’t even see them!! The paper covering the window makes it pointless to even put the silhouettes in there. The addition of lights I thought would help but nope. Oh well it looks better with the lights though!!
On another note, my electrical parts for my Animal Circus kit came in! So when I am done with this I can move onto that one!

You really can’t see the silhouette even with the lights, though the lights are really vibrant. The most frustrating part about some kits is that you can’t see a single detail sometimes, I make sure to take pictures to remind myself there was something
@Grey74 i really like your honest review on this build david me personally i wouldn’t purchase it as nice as it looks its a shame also that you cannot see the details for the windows being covered have a great weekend its nearly friday

Wow, you’re so close to the finish line! It’s definitely been a battle, but it’s turning out gorgeous, especially with those fairy lights. I’m curious to see what you have planned for it! And now you already have the Animal Circus waiting for you, so there’s no shortage of projects.
It’s really not as hard as it looks. @Tinybysiw If you ever decide to do it, I will share 3 very valuable tips that I discovered while doing so. You can do it.
I loved this kit so much! Its looks incredible on the hall table! I wish I thought to put lights in earlier in the process! I might go back to it one day and do so! It’s a shame the silhouettes don’t show up even with the lights though!
Enjoy the rigging part! Rigging is one of my favourite things to do (growing up watching my dad build model boats)
This kit actually inspired me to build a snake model whaling boat…. Which is super difficult if you don’t know what you’re doing! It might one of those projects that takes me a few years (not the first one to do so either) hahaha
The lights are a good addition, though.
