I thought these two kits would be fast builds with little customization. I was in for a surprise. The Tipsy Cat Cafe became a real challenge when the bar storage piece wouldn’t assemble correctly. I had to create a new one with my 3D printer. And of course I needed to change up the color scheme a bit. In the end, it looked better than expected.
Century Post Office was fun because I love stationery products and cool mail boxes. The papers were a bit of a challenge but I pushed through.

Before, I also thought that the smaller ones should be easier but it’s usually not the case. A lot of them are really small but terrible as they say. Your kit looks amazing!

Do .. at my meet up some people found the tipsy bar a tad difficult especialy the drink dispensers at the back 
these smaller kits can take a while to do especially with the very smaller pieices

Wow, that was such a clever solution! It’s amazing that you were able to create a new piece with your 3D printer and make the build your own. We love seeing how everyone adds their own creativity to these little worlds!
They both turned out beautifully! This kits are small but have their difficulties. You did a wonderful work!

This turned out beautiful! I love your color changes. You did well in working out the problem you encountered.
I did sand one element, the bar piece for Tipsy Cat. Maybe that’s why it survived intact. But I have some arthritis in my hands so the back bar storage was just too tricky to manage. Next time, I might use glue, which might be strong enough to hold the pieces together instead of those helpful double-sided adhesive strips. Those require the piece to be complete.
Mine just fall asleep before I can even finish telling my stories!
