Project 141 was the Rolife Tipsy Cat Bar DS054, and this one was such a fun little build. It’s tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but it still has so much personality packed into it.
I could definitely tell this is one of the newer kits because they did a really good job marking the fragile areas in the instructions before you got to them. I always appreciate those little warning symbols because sometimes you don’t realize something is delicate until it’s too late.
The cat is absolutely my favorite part of this one. It’s actually the same cat from another kit I’m still working on, which made me laugh when I realized it. The detail on it is honestly impressive for how tiny it is.
I also really liked the mirror behind the bar shelves and the drink dispenser detail in the back. I did slightly get the sign above the bar a little crooked because I stopped paying attention to the directions for approximately two seconds.
I didn’t make any major modifications, but I did swap the paper-wrapped cocktail discs for resin because I liked the finished look better. The tiny menu stand was another detail that I thought turned out really well.
This feels like one of those perfect “work on it during lunch or while sitting in a long meeting” kits because you can make progress pretty quickly without taking over your whole workspace.
I’m pretty sure the donut shop might have to be my next one from this series.
Do you enjoy these tiny quick builds more, or do you prefer the giant projects that take over the entire table?
I haven’t seen this kit before OMG as a cat lady I adore it. I must admit your resin filled cocktails look so realistic and inviting… I’m sure it’s happy hour somewhere lol.
This turned out so incredibly cute. I love the resin in your glasses. I like the more intricate builds…but the one I am working on now is completely DIY and is the mini mini miniest miniature I have ever seen. The finished 3 story house with a pool and a yard sits on a 9 by 13 cm base. I am certainly regretting some life choices at the moment…LOL!
Oh, that’s the same kitty from the bookstore (I think). It certainly moves up and down the street a lot.
Your coloured resin cocktails look great. I had plans of doing similar when I build it.
Looks terrific Kim.
This turned out so adorable I love how much personality these tiny kits still have despite being so small. And honestly, the little warning symbols for fragile parts are such a lifesaver sometimes The resin cocktails sound like such a good upgrade too!
Kim_Kieffer, the resin cocktail discs and the tiny menu stand sound like such thoughtful upgrades. Tipsy Cat Bar really seems to pack a lot of personality into a small build, and your notes about the newer instructions are super helpful for other builders!
