Some boards on this kit are thin so I had to take extra care popping them and I found it hard to snap them together. Afraid that if I put too much pressure I might break it.
The hardest part for me was putting the walls together and the post office sign. I had a hard time snapping together the walls and pushing the post office sign on its base. I did sand the sign a bit but still struggled to push it in.
I love the little typewriter too. So many little details here. Use a razor knife to cut the tabs holding pieces in place. You can easily see them from the back side.
I built one from this same set too, and I found it really cute and quite simple overall! You did such a great job with the details, the little typewriter and stamps are adorable. It’s normal to struggle a bit with those thin pieces, but it turned out lovely!!!
For a first miniature, you did such a beautiful job.
It really shows how much care you put into every tiny detail.
It made me wonder… if your little post office could deliver a letter anywhere in time, whose mailbox would it fin?
