I finished building this Hello Kitty bookstore shop and oh my goodness… this one was definitely a challenge!
This was a complete DIY kit, so everything was done by hand. There was so much paper cutting, folding, tiny book making, and lots and lots of glue. It definitely tested my patience, but watching all the little details come together made it so worth it.
I love how colorful and cozy it turned out! The little bookstore sign, the tiny books, the shopping bags, the book list board, the welcome mat, and all the Hello Kitty details are just too cute. I also love that it came with the little Hello Kitty figurine because she makes the whole shop feel complete.
Even though this build was difficult, I’m really happy I stuck with it. Complete DIY kits can be a lot of work, but the finished result always feels extra special because you know how much time and effort went into every tiny piece.
Would you rather build a fully DIY kit like this, or do you prefer kits where more of the pieces are already ready to assemble? I like a mix of both to be honest!
Omg the books! The colors! The kitty!! It’s great. I kinda enjoy doing the diy kits. Gets me to slow down more and focus on enjoying the process. Yours is dangerously cute and fantastic!!
