[Challenge & Achievement] Finished my corner bookstore

Hallelujah I finished my bookstore. With some patience and helpful hints I managed to remove the stickers from my damaged door onto my replacement door. Got door in without breaking it but guess what broke another part… luckily that was easy to repair with some glue and black paint.

All in all this was a difficult build for me. The sides/ pieces were really hard to fit together and applying alot of force caused me to break fragile pieces. So many books were fun to make but to be honest they were hard to get to stick in baskets, shelves etc.

I do love the finished kit..

Well done, the end result looks really nice

Thank you I appreciate it.

Wow, that takes a lot of patience to remove the old stickers and put them back on.

It doesn’t look like a difficult kit, what level is it?

It’s not difficult only 2.5 stars but the pieces were really delicate and I guess I am to forceful lol.

Well done Carmie. It looks great and I see it has the approval of Queen.

Oh yeah, it doesn’t seem like an easy kit. Some people have found it challenging and even annoying! But you’ve done it pretty good all things considered!

I love love love Freddie…that is my Queen shrine lol

It looks great. Thank for share. Nice pictures

The details on this looks amazing  you did a great job despite all the challenges. You should be proud

This looks amazing! I love all the tiny details and how they all come together to make the build look so full. Really awesome job!

This turned out really nice! How were you able to remove the sticker without damaging it? For me when those things stick, they stick

I think every builder has a love-hate relationship with those tiny baskets of books! :joy: They look so cozy once they’re in, but getting them to stay put is like herding cats. I’m impressed you managed to fix the break with just some glue and black pain! :star_struck: Sometimes a little "battle scar” just adds to the vintage charm of an old bookstore.:ok_hand:t2: Enjoy your well-earned rest! :clinking_glasses:

This was not an easy kit, I agree. I broke almost everything I touched. I was able to salvage everything and ended up happy at the end. But I feel your pain!

Oh what a beautiful finish on this! All that hard work really paid off in the most amazing way — stunning!

@Carmie it looks great thank your for the honest reaview ill stay clear off this one as i can be prone to breaking things and i try so hard not to xxxx:smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Did you find that you had a hole like a piece was missing??

Well Done! Glad to see the final result. I know it seemed easy, but some parts are a bit fragile.
