Celebrate Labor Day & Win Exclusive Cinnamoroll & Pompompurin Kits ✨ — Whimsical Thursday 9 & Global Festival Activity 5

I really do admire how you turned that sense of loss into creativity, finding not only projects to build but also a welcoming community to share ideas and encouragement with. Your Alice in Wonderland book nook is such a proud milestone, especially as your first big challenge, and it’s wonderful to hear how many builds you’ve completed since then.

That’s such a beautiful and heartfelt story—it really shows how crafting became a bridge between you and your daughter. I love how you noticed her patience and attention to detail. :100:

Your story is such a great reminder that creativity isn’t about perfection from the start, it’s about trusting the process and letting those small decisions add up to something you love.

Your journey is a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful passions come from unexpected beginnings, and it’s beautiful how you’ve carried that sense of achievement and joy forward.

For me, every kit I build have a story behind it. I have build many kits and of course each one is quite special on its own. For example:
1. Sakura Treehouse
This build represent the relationship I had with my partner. He is a true caring person and very thoughtful. Because we missed out on sakura flower viewing in Japan, so he purchased the Sakura tree and planted in my garden. So the treehouse represent our love for each other.

2. The Cuckoo Clock
This clock reminds me of my late grandfather. He passed away in October 2019 but he always in my heart. I remember growing up with him as a father figure. He was amazing and I have learned a lot from him from wood work to gardening. He was a carpenter, builder, farmer, craftsman and most importantly a citizen that care so much about people around him such as building road and bridges for the people. He used to have an old cuckoo clock hanging on the wall. So in memory of him, when I saw this Rokr Cuckoo Clock I have to buy it and build it. It turn out the be one of the most beautiful piece of art and a functional design.

3. Magic Cello
This build reminds of my mother who know that I love music and love studying different instrument. She used to buy me a very nice cello with a week worth of her wage. Sadly during the process of moving interstate, it was stolen from the storage room. I was devastated since then I don’t learn about it anymore. Then when I saw the beautiful Rokr Magic Cello, all the beautiful memories I had with my mum just flash back with that cello. So this cello is very special to me and very close to my heart.

4. Cozy Puppy Villa
The journey of rescue an injured dog on the way home from work has so much mixed emotion. A lot of it was concerned, heartbreaking, sad and some what relief when I managed to get the dog some help and taken care of by the vet. The dog was badly injured and after a long journey and a lot of suffering that the dog has gone through. It is now back home and I hope the family will be looking it well. In tribute to this strong warrior and not giving up, I have build this Cozy Puppy Villa in hope that all fur babies will be able to find a loving home and no longer suffer.

I really appreciate the design that Robotime have developed over the years and each kit is a master piece. To me personally is a way of rebuilding those memories and bringing it to live. Through building it helps me to heal and managed my struggles in life in many different ways. Therefore, I would like to help bringing the kits to more people through workshop because I truly believe it will help them. I had the opportunity to introduce the beautiful kits to many people through my 2 meetups and I am very grateful for all the opportunity that @Robotime has given me. Definitely there will be more meetup coming soon and hoping to meet more crafter out there.

The Sweet Spot Build

I’ll be honest, I’m usually all about getting to the finish line. I’m not a 10-day build kind of person—I like to make steady progress and see results. But Rolife Music Dreamer Classic Carousel (AMC01) ended up being something different in the best way.

My story: This one took me three days, and it felt like the perfect balance. I didn’t rush it, but I also never felt stuck or overwhelmed. Each session felt productive, like I was actually moving forward without dragging it out.

Meaningful moment: The moment that stood out most was realizing I didn’t feel that usual urge to hurry up and finish. I was just enjoying the process while still making real progress. And when it was done, it felt earned—not rushed, not exhausting, just right.

That’s a rare feeling for me, and it’s probably why this one stands out so much. :yellow_heart:

I’ve just finished this kit … if it was my first kit I would have quit kit building lol .

Aww. That’s such a heartfelt beginning to your crafting journey. Your story is inspiring because it’s not just about building kits but it’s about turning your love for your idol into something tangible, imaginative, and deeply personal. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I love how you described building each kit with fun and excitement, and how sharing them with friends and family adds another layer of joy.

That’s such a powerful story—you’ve shown how this hobby became more than just building kits, but a way of reclaiming something for yourself.

It’s inspiring to see how that spark grew into something bigger, filling your life with joy and purpose, and now even allowing you to make a difference as an Ambassador. It’s inspiring for me as a pre ambassador.

What’s your building or crafting story?

My story with Robotime kits goes back to early 2019. Like many people, I was looking for a way to relieve stress after work, and I’ve always loved crafting and creating things with my own hands. Fast forward several years and many kits later (with a backlog of shame that’s still growing!), I’m still very much in love with building these tiny worlds as each one reflects a therapeutic moment for me.

One of the things I enjoy most is imagining myself small enough to step inside them, to explore and live in the spaces I’ve created.

Was there a moment that felt especially meaningful?

While not directly related to building the kits themselves, one of the most meaningful moments for me was joining the Robotime community last year. I didn’t expect it to have such a big impact but it really did. It became a space where I started to feel less depressed and along the way I met people who turned into real friends, people I still talk to and hope to meet in person one day.

I also managed to step out of my shell and host my first meetup with a second one already in the works and coming very soon. :pink_heart:

Snippets of my adventure with Robotime:

I’m a huge Sanrio fan, so I might actually explode from happiness if I’m lucky enough to receive one of the kits.

You did a great job on it, and you should feel proud! It looks amazing!

I think my proudest build is my Dream Coffee Factory.
Everything works great and it was so fun to complete.
It makes me think of my best friend who drinks coffee
all the time. My daughter is also a big coffee drinker
so, I think of them whenever I see it.

There is a special kind of magic in handmade gifts, as they carry a piece of your heart that a store-bought item simply can’t replicate. I wanted to gift my nephew something truly one-of-a-kind, a “rare piece” that he couldn’t find anywhere else. I had a silver tote bag and decided that instead of searching for a design, I would create one myself.

My first attempt didn’t go exactly as planned (as you guys can see in the below picture). I started painting, but the results weren’t quite reaching the vision I had in my head. In that moment of trial and error, I realized that crafting is as much about patience as it is about art. I washed the bag clean, treating it like a fresh start for a new idea.

Meaningful Moment..? Definitely there!! Here it is…

The breakthrough came when I decided to paint two hands holding each other. To me, this isn’t just a drawing…it’s a symbol of the love, protection and lifelong care I have for my nephew. As I carefully traced the lines of the “pinky swear” onto the silver fabric, the process felt incredibly meditative. Watching the simple black ink take shape on the metallic surface felt like a promise, a reminder that no matter where he goes with this bag, he’s always being looked out for. Seeing the final result, simple yet profound, brought a sense of pride that only comes from knowing you’ve made something truly unique for someone you love. Here is that design

I have always enjoyed the process of building and crafting because it’s the kind of hobby that feels the most fulfilling. Building the Sakura alley book nook as my first kit was absolutely thrilling, the tiny pieces and details required attention and patience and I’m the kind of person that sometimes get too caught up in perfection rather than enjoying but I told myself I will give myself the freedom to not be a perfectionist this time, just enjoy building the kit. It definitely is much more satisfactory to give yourself a chance for error and mistakes.
