Unboxing the Blossom Book Booth.
This kit is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of the times during Covid when people around the world created little libraries in their streets to share books with others.
The picture on the box just makes me smile.
It combines the things I love - flowers and books! It just needs a box of chocolates and a bottle of Moscato and I’m set.
The build on the box says 4 hours. It doesn’t include the time spent painting edges.
Thankyou (was it you @Kim_Kieffer?) who mentioned resin glue and UV light? I tried it and it was so much quicker. I had to do it a few times but the USB port was in a bad spot and I need to really find my needle nose bottle to decant the resin glue into. But it was so much easier and cleaner to make some of the flowers.
My lights work! Again thanks for the testing tip.
The battery box is hidden inside the mail box and was one of the first things of the build.
I’ve left this for the evening now and I’m going back to my book.
I have a soft spot for Christine Feehan’s Carpathian series and I have the latest book.
I found this on Temu and was really surprised because I’ve never seen it before. I’m not sure if it is an old kit or a new one not released for the western market. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it.
This kit looks like it’ll be beautiful, and it shows already! Your comments comparing it to beautiful things you saw during the pandemic made me smile, as well as reading how through the community we can help each other with tips and ideas. What a heartwarming post
Yes, @Kim_Kieffer who gave the wonderful tip about testing the lights. I think she may have been the one to also offer the tip of resin glue. Not sure because several have recommended it. This appears to be a lovely model and I know you will make it even better than the original. Cheers!
