I edge paint just normally with my markers an make them straight to color and not have the petals bent. Nothing special really.
@jeanneL I told Patrick I wish we had a week long vacation in the states lol. I know there are no days off in healthcare, my wife has to work all the holidays this year as last she was lucky and had them off

yes, my Ohuhu Kahuku acrylic markers, nice brush tip on them and the paint goes on thick and smooth.

You might have to resort to a brush and mix your own colour. 
Flower kits are my favorite! They are super easy but still challenge me. Your Lily looks amazing

This wooden flower looks really good, especially for something outside your usual builds. And honestly, ParaNorman, a new flower build, and cookies sounds like a pretty good way to survive the wait. Hopefully that long-awaited kit finally shows up soon!
