And so it begins! :pencil::books:

I’ve finally started building the Wisdom Stationery Shop, and I’ve already finished quite a few parts. It’s still very much a work in progress, but I’m already loving how it’s coming together. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Of course, there had to be a few little hiccups along the way. :joy:

I’m supposed to have four yellow flowers for one of the decorations, but somehow I’m only left with three. I’m not sure if I dropped one somewhere or if there was actually one missing from the kit. :woman_shrugging: Either way, it’s not a big problem. I can either go with three or make the missing one myself with some clay. :blossom:

What was a little more concerning was what happened when I started removing some of the pieces from the board templates. The top layer came off on four of the pieces! :scream:

Thankfully, none of them broke, so I was able to carefully glue the layers back together. Crisis averted! :joy::raising_hands:

And now that everything is back where it belongs, I can get on with the fun part—watching this little stationery shop slowly take shape. :heart:

Still plenty to build, but so far… I’m really liking what I see. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::pencil::books:

Oh my gosh, the out I would have freaked as soon as the top layer came off the first board :scream:. Excellent recovery, well done. They were just testing your resolve to see whether you would persevere.

That is shocking quality plywood, but unfortunately not the first time I have seen it, including from Robotime (ducks and watches for a lightening bolt from the powers that be at RT)

@Gidge you done an exallant repair on the wood hun ! Im sure you can add a flower if you want .. maybe it fell out the bag ive lost small.pieices lol :laughing: :joy: :sweat_smile: its coming along great :+1: i look forward to your progress !,:two_hearts::two_hearts::two_hearts:

I just used an unbranded air dry clay i found online. :slightly_smiling_face: I haven’t tried polymer clay yet but I would like to

I know, right? I was cutting off the tabs and the entire top layer just slid off. Good thing the cutter didn’t cut through the thin piece :grimacing: whew …
