It’s really looking great so far!! I think you made lots of progress, it takes awhile to actually build the structure, in my experience! I can’t wait to see more progress pics!
Haha I feel you!! ![]()

I actually love using acrylic markers too, especially Posca, they’re so easy and clean to work with ![]()
Do you have any other ones you would recommend? ![]()
You should buy a silicone craft mat for your table. I love it, after painting I spray multi cleaner spray on the paint stains, let it work a bit while I wash the brushes, and then it’s almost as easy as wiping it off with paper afterwards without having to scrub too much.
I like painting he edges too and acrylic marker is a great way to go about it.
Thank you! Just got home last night from a shirt vacation so I’ll be working on this kit later this afternoon with my daughter.
Excited to finish it and take photos of my other toy collection with it haha.
I do have a silicone mat, I’m just not very keen on cleaning.
Like, when I clean the brushes, then after the paint dries up on whatever I painted on, I see a tiny part that I kissed or the strokes are a bit thinner on one part, I need to use the brushes again and clean again so that endless cycle sometimes makes me go nuts haha. I love the convenience of just popping open an acrylic marker and closing it right after with no mess at all. ![]()
To be honest, I don’t use the big branded once because I feel like it’s a bit too expensive. The one I’m using are just China-made markers trying to imitate Posca markers.
My favorite are those with soft brushes because they make application easier than the pen tips ones that leaves a bit of stroke marks.
For real! Less mess and more convenient to use! ![]()
Hahah, well we all have our favourite way to do our Things!
Is the markers on Temu? I love Posca, and the quality is great because I prefer the paint to be light proof. But I would really be interested in some cheaper soulitions ![]()

exactly. I only use paint on a larger area as the marker won’t be enough.
