🌿 Weekend Glow Activity 6 | When Things Went Wrong 😅

Yes, that’s right. But I haven’t finish it yet. I need to get back to the manual.

That’s true. It’s a LOT. Right now, it shows 900+. I don’t wanna bother so I just enjoying reading here.

I’ve been just checking mine throughout the day…Scroll, find a real post, comment/like…then hit dismiss new after finding the very few real ones. @Anje_Leonoza_Mira

I see accidents as opportunities. So when I accidentally broke the windshield of Beverly’s ice cream truck, I just simply replaced the cracks with butterflies.

I’m so glad it turned out nice even with a little mishap.

My first attempt at painting was this little ferris wheel from timu that was nearly impossible to put together. I had to glue glue glue and I didn’t know how to get the paint to go on correctly and I was frustrated like crazy! But I keep it around so that I can laugh at myself and remind myself not to take these things too. Seriously, they’re just for fun. Plus, it’s my 2-year-old granddaughter’s favorite piece. :joy:

This happens to me every single time! I’ll be wrapping up, feeling good about the build, and then I spot that one piece or sticker still sitting there on my desk. Cue the detective work—flipping through the instructions trying to figure out where that piece is supposed to go because I have no idea how I missed it. Sometimes I find it buried in a step I could’ve sworn I completed, and then I’m carefully taking things apart to get it in the right spot. It’s definitely taught me to always do a final sweep of both my workspace and the manual before I call it done! :magnifying_glass_tilted_left:

I agree @Kim_Kieffer Sometimes those are spares…so I just mark off each step in the directions as I go. That doesn’t happen anymore.

What a cute story to share. I’m sure that a 2 year old would love it. We are all still learning. @Mark_Rudnik

The perfect way to BE POSITIVE.

That makes it the best build you have ever done. Your granddaughter will treasure this.

Thanks for this. Will do this for now.

That’s such a creative way to turn an accident into something beautiful!

I love how you’ve turned that frustrating first attempt into something meaningful.

The fact that you go full detective mode with the manual shows real dedication, and honestly, it’s a smart habit to do that final sweep before calling it finished.

Most of the time I’m able to find where I missed it lol, but a few times I searched so hard sure felt like detective work

I’ve been doing that. I have reported some, dismissed the rest after looking at the actual posts that were there.

The ones that were noticeable, have been replaced now. Just the one on the inside I left it as it was. Because I was too afraid to break more trying to disassemble the build to get to it. You cannot see it and it all works without any problem so I don’t see any reason to get to it and replace it.

I have also done the same…only to find out the piece never even mattered at times…LOL!

That actually a really smart call.

Hahaha no :face_with_hand_over_mouth: The truth is I have the kit stopped and since I’m not going to turn on the humidifier because it wets the wood, I think it’ll stay like this.
