So today I browse my backlog of over 60 kits. I have decided to get started with the Rokr Dream Gift Factory. I was aiming to do this last Xmas but didn’t have the time to so I will be doing this now for the next xmas decoration.

So here we go. This box ị will definitely be keeping. It is so beautiful.

My top tips would be…

  • Wax, wax, wax everywhere the instructions prompt you to. Don’t worry about the wax bar included, it may seem small but it’ll be more than enough
  • Sand, sand, sand. Many parts will prove challenging to fit into each other without doing so
  • Tighten the strings of lights properly, the longer one is long enough but it has a great, long and curved journey ahead
  • Pay attention to the direction of the parts in each step, I had to undo some things just because I added them the opposite way of the one I was supposed to
  • Specially when putting together the reel of toys and testing, be careful where your string of lights is. Remember my flying toy? That happened because my string was too close to the reel and it got stuck in it :sweat_smile:

Mostly that, yeah. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it a lot all the way! It’s a truly fun, challenging and satisfying build.

After I finish the coffee factory, I had to get this one too, but I haven’t been motivated yet to start it. I can’t wait to watch your journey.

I built mine after Christmas too.. That is ok. Take your time and enjoy! Feel free to search for mine for any tips although I know you will be fine!
