Unboxing Carl’s Fruit Shop

This looks like such a nice kit and although I’m only really working through my first kit, it’s the painting and gluing and all the different craft elements that I really enjoy as opposed to the piece together type models

Those brushes totally look like makeup brushes! I’m terrible at painting with brushes, I can never get the paint even. This would be so hard for me! Can’t wait to see how yours turns out!

I get why you prefer paint over markers; I think the finish is much better.
Looking forward to seeing your progress!

I much prefer painting too, even though it definitely takes longer. There’s just something so satisfying about seeing all those little details come together with paint. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: You can join me and @Vangie hunting for discontinued kits :joy: They Are the best

Yes, it’s much to do here. Before I opened the kit, I actually thought it came with clay that you had to use to make the fruit. But I’m realizing now that I must have seen someone else customize the set using clay lol :joy:

I love Carl’s Fruit Shop. I thought all the fruit and veggies would be boring to do, but it wasn’t.

Here is mine:

I just bought some paint brushes for this hobby, I hope they get here soon!

You are lovely. I don’t know who has left, maybe I missed the posts? But I hope they rest well and come back :folded_hands:

Thank you for that :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Yes, I love the old vintage kits! More work and more time :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yes, they look like make up brushes. When you got some great brushes, some good paint it all makes it so much easier :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Haha, I can definitely understand that! :joy: I’ve also had to take a few breaks here and there, especially when it’s been really hot. A proper break in November sounds lovely though — just relaxing and spending some quality time with your daughter. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart: Enjoy it!

I completely agree! I just love the finish you get with paint, it takes so long time to cover big areas with markers. Thank you sweetest

It is absolutely stunning! And you really did a great job! I mean, the kit looks so beautiful and I almost feel bad for customizing it. :smiling_face_with_tear:Thank you for showing us

Uuuh, looking forward to see them. Hope the quality is good! I’ve had my ups and downs with bad brushes :smiling_face_with_tear::rofl: Thank you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Someone who took a break is back again, and there is someone in here I just hope read that I miss them :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
