My progress is a bit slow for this kit. I had to hand paint, wait, then hand-paint that wall for about 5 times to get a better white color. I ran out of paint while doing so.
I’m now stitching the edges of the pillow rather than just gluing them. Glue makes the edges stiff and wouldnt be too sturdy when I put the pillow stuffing inside. While doing this, I came to appreciate the newer models where the pillows are plastic and just snap then done.
I still have a long long way to go but I enjoy every tsk, head scratching duh moments while building this kit.
Great progress @joy.licerio considering this is an older version kit, it will definitely take longer. And stitching those pillows would definitely be better than glue
The things we do for the perfect shade of white! Running out of paint is practically a rite of passage in this hobby. Your pillows are going to look so much better because you took the time to stitch them! Even if it feels like a “slow progress” day. Can’t wait for Update #02!
I really like the fabrics in this kit. And I like to sew them as well. I have tried using fabric glue but that leaves a stiff edge as you said. This is going to look fantastic.
