I didn’t have much time so I only managed to work on some easier parts. But the weekend is near and I am excited to find time to start on the more tedious parts of this kit. :smiling_face:

Got to make some books! I was rather happy the books were not pre cut. Might be weird but I actually enjoy cutting lol, I find using a blade and ruler to achieve straight cuts very therapeutic and it takes my mind off things.

The frames were fun to make and I love how the clear sheets now come with a pre-printed border to help with cutting. I was not a fan of having to do my own measurements and markings on the clear sheets from older kits, it was really messy and I have yet to find a better way to do it. This time I ditched double-sided tape and just glued the clear sheets on the frames, I was too lazy and it wasn’t obvious anyway. :laughing:

It is coming along nicely.

I don’t like having to do a lot of cutting. I like it when it is perforated.

I had kit one time that had both. I thought it was a nice touch. It gave me options and spares of every paper piece.

It looks really nice. I don’t mind cutting either. I always use scissors never thought of using a blade and ruler. That is really smart.

It’s looking great already! I totally get what you mean about cutting, there’s something really relaxing about it once you get into the rhythm. The frames turned out so clean too, and that border detail really makes things easier. Can’t wait to see how it progresses over the weekend!
