Two of the walls were made from thin wood and came warped. I tried flattening them before painting but they’re still not quite flat enough. So after I take these photos, I’m going to see if I can find a clamp in the garage and leave it in place overnight. The glue I used is strong so fingers crossed it holds its shape and doesn’t spring back.
The Kiki electric box is up! I think I’ll find a way to make the pipe less obvious. I also sanded the edge of the walls to give them a slightly weathered look.
The fences took a while to complete because I’m a little crazy and had to make sure they were evenly spaced. Hence the ruler taped in place. Every time I accidentally knock a piece out of place, I scream.
I love the fence the most! Your dedication while building the fence paid off. It’s really good and straight. I love how you customized here literally everything. I’m really excited on the outcome.
YAY!! My favourite part is always putting up the walls, it’s where I’m at with Sam’s study right now! This is looking soo good! I’m so excited to see the finished build and how all your customizations come together!
Hahaha I absolutely agree! I’m finally done with this crazy project while it’s not perfect enough for me I’ve learnt a lot! My next one is probably a book nook or the Hello Kitty.
Wow all these details are perfectly made I’ve already seen the final result, and it’s absolutely stunning. Building it doesn’t have to be fast; it’s all about having fun
