📖 [Rolife Journey] Update #2 Wooden Bloom Box

Taking it slow.
Tonight I’ve finished another set of flowers and the bow.
Fat fingers broke the front of the bow but glue to the rescue.

It took a little time because I did a lot of painting of edges, painting of plain wood, and colouring in. Bit upset that the colour bled on the edging of the gift tag, but it’s not noticeable unless you look really closely.

So, that’s my last flower update for a bit because we head off on holidays (vacation) in the morning. I am taking these kits with me.

I’ll still be checking in but taking a break from the flowers until I get back in a week.

Blossom Book Booth? I’ve never seen that one before! Is it a new release that just hasn’t reached the US yet?

Thanks so much Lacey. I found it online. I think it was Temu but I must have got the last one because I can’t find it again.

This is our annual Gold Coast trip where we just do nothing but relax. We might go to the movies because I want to see the new Elvis movie but apart from that, no plans at all.

Thankyou Nita. I’m disappointed that the paint ones bled into the wood.

Thanks so much Tricia. I really didn’t like the sign bare.

I must admit that I had never seen it either so I grabbed it. I’m not sure if it’s an older release or not.

In order to avoid that in the future, you can use any color of stain (even a clear/natural stain) and it will seal the wood.

Aww it’s a shame the paint bled but you’re right no one’s going to notice it unless you scrutinise. It still turned out beautifully. :pink_heart:

HAVE A LOVELY HOLIDAY! Be careful of the hot summer sun my fellow potato!

It was. And it rained almost the whole week we were there but I didn’t care. There is apparently the chance of another cyclone forming off the coast and the forecast is for rain again lol
I know I’ve asked you this before, but where in Australia are you?

Yes, I use these on most of the woods. I was surprised that it bled.

Yeah we were on a cruise to Papua new Guinea and were caught in the cyclone the whole time…. We docked at Brisbane 6 hours late missed our flight home to Melbourne… worst holiday ever never been sea sick in my life but thst cruise.. chuck fest and vertigo…lol
