This morning i couldn’t wait to open up this old style kit i ordered. Just look at how many parts there are in this small kit and looks like im gonna be painting some parts to.
It looked like i would that with the most hated part. Making paper flowers. I was willing to try but didn’t like the look of them so i got my stored parts out and make my own flower from a leftover flower. I like the look of it.
I also sar thaw you need to paint a white flower pot but im sure i will not be able to make it as nice as in the picture so i plan on finding a chinese porcelain motif online and printing this on paper and wrap it around it or make it red and try to draw small Chinese symbols on it. Anyone any other tips or ideas?
Wow! This looks really complex! I’m excited to see your progress throughout you build! It looks like there’s some clay in this build, I imagine the clay that came with it is too dried out to use, I’ve had success with buying multi coloured packs of air dry clay off amazon!
Nice kit:heart: what symbol you would like to have…? Old style Chinese wording or icon…?flower… you can let me know… I have some art clip of that:thinking:
Yes it does. I need to paint wires for a plant brown and the pot from the plant as far as i saw now and probably the wall will need to be painted white. This level of paintwork i can live with.
I didnt see any clay but didn’t have a lot of time. We have air drying clay at home luckily so that will be fine. There is also glue included and that is still liquid so fingers crossed

Funnily, I was looking at the flowers on your tablecloth and thinking they were part of the kit.
This will keep you busy for a while, it looks fantastic, and you’ve done a great job with the flower in the pot! This construction is going to be amazing when it’s finished.
