📖 [Rolife Journey] Finally Done! The Eternal Atlantic Voyager

Finally done!

The rigging wasn’t the difficult part at all. In fact, I found that part surprisingly enjoyable.

It was the lights. Stringing those tiny, stubborn lights! I didn’t stretch the wire enough from beneath the hull, so it ended up falling short at the top.

Managed to sort it out in the end, and everything went smoothly after that.

My light string was too short, as well! Doh! I ended up wrapping it around the piece in front of where it was supposed to go. :grimacing:

Looks great! You did a beautiful job.

Give it a try. It’s one of my most relaxing builds so far. You might enjoy it.

I thought I had a home run, with no problems with the kit. Until those lights!

Goodluck and have fun.

Looking absolutely awesome @Baron_Vergara . I take my hat off to anyone who does this build.

Thank you. I appreciate it. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Nicely done! Yeah, I definitely had that problem with the wires as well, the length of it was surprisingly fitted to what’s supposed to cover, so yeah, it was a challenge to make it fit in the tiny hole at the bow and stay there. I’ve lost count of how many times the string of wires got loose from the mast while I was trying to do that

Either way… Amazing job you did right there! Your Titanic looks awesome and majestic.

Thanks. It took me several tries until I found out what I did wrong. I thought I was going to break the mast at one point.

Give it a try. It was a very relaxing build except for the part with the lights. But otherwise… enjoyed!

I certainly would love to do so. I am currently working on number #110’ish…I lose count…but it is the Gear Ball Challenge. Building and painting (as always). This one is holding up to its name, for sure.

Thanks. It does look awesome when lit up but even better with the lights dimmed.

I have a feeling you’d enjoy it a lot. Although I’m curious about wether you’d customize something or let it be the way it is :stuck_out_tongue:

Surely you jest. I don’ t touch a model without customizing it. After about my 7th one, I’ve customized them all. @TheToday

You’re starting to know me too well :scream:

Any early ideas on how you would customize this one?

Of course! Black, white and red paint for exterior. Stain for decks..and of course something a bit extra once it was in my hands…LOL

I wouldn’t expect less from you!

But I guess my highest curiosity would be in what you would do about the showcase room.
