It’s a great kit. I have seen many members have built it. It looks amazing.
That’s great. Yes, playing builds helps us develop patience.
That sounds so cool.
I’m curious to see how it will look like.
It looks really great. Did you dry brush the colour over it.
For the planks I mixed burnt sienna with black, and a little blue and some red to get a Mahogany dark like colour, and for the aged-out effect I used the same burnt sienna but with white, some yellow and a touch of blue and yes, I dry brushed this light tan colour!
The salt stains its going to be a diluted gray sprayed over the bottom! wish me luck
The creative juices is flowing too… im really happy with this kit!
Thank you! I saw a lot if very vibrant colours and they are great inspirations!
Thank you so much! And yes this will be a very slow one for me! and that is totally fine I am really enjoying it
I am not sure yet.. im sure its petroleum derivative
Thanks @Orangesareus . Vibrant colours just brighten my day.
Yes, we can customize a lot in models like these.
Im really impressed. I would have never come up with thst idea. Knowing what colours to mix and stuff.
I think it will turn out great since you have the skills when it comes to painting. ![]()
This is already looking incredible. I love how intentional and calm your process is, it really shows in the depth and character you’re giving the ship. Taking it slow, testing, painting, and enjoying every little detail feels so right for a build like this. She really does feel legendary already. Full pirate era vibes and I’m here for it!!
Hey! He is supposed to be sailing my Pirate ship! Well I always liked Orlando Bloom so I guess I claim him!
Let’s go, @jeanneL!!
I am in and what an adventure it would be🏴☠️
I love the picture of choice >.< and Thank you! I am experimenting and for bow letting the enamel to fully cure so i can work on it again!
Ahahahaha I do love me some Orlando Bloom too!
