Winter has really started here in the Netherlands. It’s been snowing for days, and we haven’t had this much snow in a long time. Perfect weather for building without having to go outside.
I was able to paint the rest of the details on the front wall. Robotime even thought about adding curtains to the windows. It’s amazing how Robotime pays attention to every little detail. I chose to use as many earth tones as possible.
A stone wall surrounds the opening. I painted it gray, but I’m not sure I like it that much. Maybe it should be a slightly darker gray. I’m going to sleep on it. I’ll stop for now and hopefully I can continue tomorrow.
We have also been getting way more snow this year than usual where I live in Canada. Basically started snowing in November and hasn’t stopped! Your clock is looking fantastic btw!! Love the colour scheme!
I wonder if the darker greyish blue would look better? I am not the expert here. I am thinking a little more contrast though. and since your heading to bed, rest and see what the morning tells you!
Thank you @ThaoNguyen I’m really enjoying building this structure. Because it’s plain wood, it does take more time to paint everything, but I really enjoy being able to paint a structure exactly the way I want it.
Normally, there’s maybe 5 cm of snow here. Now it’s already 30 cm, and it’s going to snow heavily today. Fortunately, it’s going to rain again this weekend, and I expect the snow to disappear quickly
