My heart danced after I finished Santa’s Toy Shop. I love the whole process of making it even if it wasn’t perfect. The door knob broke, but I managed to salvage a piece of wood and make it into a door knob. I also ended up painting the railing with white acrylic because I couldn’t get the provided snow sticker stick to it . As you see, every oopsie that I encountered became an opportunity for me to learn about being resourceful and creative. This is true to each and every projects that I build; Each build is a journey to learning about doing my best, gaining confidence, and enjoying the process-the “journey”-not just the destination.
And also, I’m supposed to make this with my kids on Thanksgiving, but due to time constraints I ended up doing it myself. And what a privilege to create such a beautiful Christmas build. So much warmth in my heart just looking at it.
I added the Christmas Eve party In the photo to show how I display them at home.
I built both of these too. They went pretty good. But I agree it helps when something goes wrong and we need to fix it. We learn. Its all in the way you want to think of it! Good postive attitude!
I absolutely love these little frames…but trying to find them on the site is hard for me. I try to search Christmas stuff and it is taking me to Black Friday deals. They are so cute and you’ve done a wonderful job with them.
Nice photos!! I think I’m going to do the toy shop next after I’m done the Christmas Melody tree!! These photo frame builds are just too cute!! I already have a spot picked out on the wall!!
It turned out absolutely beautiful, such a warm and charming build!!! All your little fixes and creative touches make it even more special. Truly lovely work!
