With Tahoe snow in the background, I couldn’t think of a better backdrop than this for the Corner Bookstore.
Here’s our current conditions, and snow keeps coming down.
So imagine yourself indulging in your favorite book, or perhaps strumming the chords with a guitar, and letting the time slip away.
Maybe marvel at the beautiful statue of a maiden while browsing through the books.
As a personal thing, I wrote Chipman on the barrel as some sort of a family heirloom.
I added some greenery and flowers on the orange balcony because I’m already wishing for spring.
The challenges that I experienced with this build are so well worth it. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful builds I’ve ever) made.

The backdrop is so pretty…what a view out your window! I’m glad the avalanche didn’t affect you. You did a fantastic job in this build…love the guitar!

This is such a pretty kit. I think my favorite part is the flowers above the canopy. Nicely done! That is more snow than I’ve seen in a LONG time. Twenty three years in Montana and I certainly don’t miss it. It is beautiful to look at..but not to shovel or drive in. Stay warm and safe.

Thanks Tina. Feel very sad about the avalanche. It’s still a big news over here. The last deadly incident was about 40 years ago, so this is totally unprecedented.
Thanks, Nita. Yeah, I could use some warmth now. Thank goodness for this hobby it helps a lot in the period of isolation.
