📖 [ROKR Journey] Gear Ball Challenge Update #4

Finally able to squeeze some time to continue on the gear ball challenge. And my supervisor is strictly watching me.

I believe my painting is getting better as I practice. I’m so proud of myself

It’s slowly coming together now. I am loving how the colors look.

For this session, I have completed the front face - complete with buttons and middle drawer.

I am having a hard time opening the drawer though. I waxed the bottom but it still doesn’t slide smoothly

I also made a color mishap. Early on of this build, the sides were the first ones painted and I painted them yellow instead of blue but I think I will leave it as is. I think it gives it more character hehehe

That’s it for now. My son is now happily playing with the flag popping out when a marble drops

It’s looking amazing so far, and I keep loving the colours you’ve chosen for this! It’s gonna be a fun and super unique kit, and it already shows.

It’s bugging me that you’re finding issues opening that though, even after properly waxing it. I hope it has nothing to do with the paint? I’m checking the PDF manual but it’s a bit hard to see where the issue may be without having building it myself.

Your cute supervisor runs a strict program, look at his focusing face making sure you’re not doing any mistakes!! I think the yellow on the sides was a perfect choice, it made the base more vibrant!! and the colour choice of this one is top notch <<33
