On again - Off again project - work in progress

This was/is my first ever miniature build (until I was introduced to Rolife through Christmas gifts).
It is my nemesis.
I pick it up and do some before switching to something else.
By recording it here, it may give me the impetus to keep going.
Wish me luck!

I totally get where you are coming from. I have one of those sitting in the corner as well. Not a mini house, but still…a nemesis.

I have the same project! The very first one for me too and I have not looked at it again

You’re doing great because you have opened the project again. I wish you luck. Hopefully you’ll be able to complete it

It looks complicated, but I’m sure it will be very beautiful when it’s finished :heart_hands:t2:

Good luck, you’ve got this! :flexed_biceps:
First builds are always a bit of a rollercoaster, especially when they turn into a “pick it up, put it down” project. Sharing it here is a great idea, and step by step it will come together. We’ll be cheering you on!

This kit is actually one of my favorite miniature builds! Trust me it will look really adorable and beautiful once it’s done! Just enjoy and love the process of building it and trust me it will be very satisfying once its done!

These are next level difficult. I would recommend building up skill and experience with rokr kits and then go back to this one.

This was actually my very first miniature too, so I totally get it. As a first build, it does feel a little over-RAM at the beginning —there’s a lot going on! But once you finish it, it feels so rewarding and satisfying.

There are tons of tiny details, lots of cutting and pasting, and honestly… it takes a lot of patience and heart. But that’s also what makes it special.

And the best part? You don’t have to do it alone. You can always come here and update us on your progress, ask questions when you’re stuck, and it really feels like we’re all building it together. With that kind of support, I’m sure you’ll finish it happily in no time :flexed_biceps::sparkles:

Good luck, Suzanne! :four_leaf_clover: First builds are always a little tricky, and it sounds like this one is giving you a run for your money  Switching between projects is totally normal, sometimes a little break is exactly what you need. Recording your progress here will definitely help keep you motivated, and we can’t wait to cheer you on as you conquer your nemesis! You’ve got this :sparkles:

I feel your pain @Jill_Francisco . I’m building this without lights because the lights refused to work for me when I tested them (even after trouble shooting).

I enjoy it in short bursts ha ha

Oh no…Have you tried to find new lights…or contacting the company for new ones?
